Last Saturday #1

Last Saturday, I was not wearing false eyelashes.. *gasps I also had nude lips (!!!). I would call this my au naturel look. For my eyes, I used my Maybelline eyeliner in brown (it's my first eyeliner from when I was young and innocent..lol.) and a tonne of mascara (Stage Angel Lash Sculpting Mascara, MAC Splashproof and Maybelline Volume Express). It took me half an hour to get my lashes up there but I guess it didn't show.

On my face, I used Elianto Orange Blush. It's really natural. For my lips, I used MAC Way To Love Lustre Lipstick topped with Estee Lauder Lipgloss in Honey.


Sadly, I only went to Youth Fellowship. And unfortunately, we did some outdoor activities and my hair was stuck on my lips the whole time. Lesson learnt: Never wear that much lipgloss on a day out or secure hair with hair pins.

❤My latest Hauls...

You won't believe that I bought this for 24 dollars!! It's a orangey blush with tiny gold flecks from Elianto. The packaging is a cheap but the finishing of this blush is incredible (I used it in my Last Saturday #1 look)

Rhinestones, which i ended up using on my camera.

Masks from SkinLite. Truthfully, I don't see results from any of their masks so far but I just love their Strawberry mask. It makes me smell like I just ate strawberries all day. *lol

Za (zee-ay) Pore Smoother, it's new and it comes free with a True White 2-way Cake. I've used the Pore Smoother for a week now and I still don't see anything. Well, not that I don't see the pores, I mean there's no result. But I think my nose feels rougher ironically.

Oh, and I bought a lustre lipstick Way To Love from the lastest MAC collection: A Rose Romance. This is a sheer, nude, pink. It looks peach on my lips though. The texture is very smooth and it goes well with any look. I ❤ it!

Lip liners

Pretty Gold Lip gloss from YSL. It has tiny gold flecks. It's my one of my favourite lipglosses so far. It's not as dramatic as it looks from the bottle.

How to conceal the inconcealable

Whether you have accepted it or not, most of us have struggled with blemishes, pimples, scars... for a long time. The good news is, all these problems can be solved just by using, what I call, a magic pencil, concealer. There are many forms of concealer, such as pencil, liquid, cream.... Read on as I demonstrate how to use a simple pencil concealer.

My very first and only concealer is The Body Shop Concealer Pencil in 08. It's really all you need because it tackles pimples, blemishes, scars and eye bags (shocking!) It is a crayon corrector with a yellow undertone, that means it glides on easily and neutralises redness or dark eye circles. However, cream-based concealers crease easily, so it is not good for concealing wrinkles.

It's very easy to use, first, glide on to the desired areas.

Then, using a finger, gently dab it a few times till the concealer blends into the skin. Should it be too sheer, repeat the process again. Don't forget a heavy-handed application will look tarty and unnatural.


And dust on some loose powder to prevent creasing or smudging. I'm using Benefit Powderflage and my Inuovi Fan Brush.


And ta-daa...


Flawless skin in less than 3 minutes.

Firstly, take any liquid foundation(preferably as they have more staying power) or concealer..


I'm using my L'oreal True Match Liquid Foundation in 02 Apricot Ivory

For those with dry lips, before starting with foundation, apply lip balm generously throughout your lips. After 2 minutes, remove it gently with a tissue because foundation sticks better on dry skin.



Dispense a small amount (about the size of a rice) on the back of your hand. Using your finger tip, dab it gently throughout your lip. (Remember: Don't drag on your lips. They're sensitive!) Keep adding more colour until you're satisfied. The lips should be almost skin colour so the lip colour you choose to use stays as close to it's actual colour.

Then, using your ring finger or a brush or anything you're comfortable with, apply your lip colour. (Note: It's best to use a lip stick or gloss which is not to sheer as your lips will turn out to be really odd-looking if no colour is applied.)


I'm using my M.A.C. Frost Lipstick in Angel. And I added a thin coat of M.A.C. Hello Kitty Tinted Lip Conditioner in Popster.
